While I'm absolutely delighted to be a new member of Ebay (an event I celebrated by buying an un-opened pack of second series Garbage Pail Kids, c. 1986 and a book on the psychology of retail therapy) the following email did make me stop and hemorrhage.

"Congratulations on your first Positive Feedback.

Just like taking your first steps, your first positive feedback is a major milestone. It shows you're now a fully fledged member of eBay.co.uk community."

Did they just compare my first, innocent, tentative steps into the world of true bipedal human existence with the words, "Great ebayer, thanks!"?
Written by someone from Hampshire that I'll never meet?

Really?

I'm sure they did.

I also have this screen grab of an original puzzle/strategy game I have created that might end up being called Garden Warfare.

I've finally managed to get my first project for the Sam Coupe (mostly) finished. I still have a few bugs to sort out here and there, as always, but I now have most of the important routines completed and I'm ready to start developing some games and applications.

I decided, as all Englishmen should, to read the Diaries of Samuel Pepys. And while I found his first hand account of the Great Fire of London gripping to say the least, I did also feel it was largely overshadowed by this pithy observation, dated September 18th 1666.

"Strange with what freedom and quantity I pissed this night, which I know not what to impute to but my oysters, unless the coldness of the night should cause it.."

If only My Pepys had had such a bladder on the night of the fire itself! :O

My new Sam Coupe has arrived, 20 years later than expected.

Sam Coupe

I expect to do nothing of any value with my life for at least the next 6 months thanks to this little bubba!
